nachdem mich das neue gorillaz album plastic beach fast schon in einer art dauerschleife beim arbeiten begleitet, hat es mich heute in den fingern gejuckt um mich selbst näher mit dem “gorillas style” auseinander zu setzen. als bekennender jamie hewlett fan ist dass natürlich gleich doppelt herausfordernd.
mein ergebnis ist insgesamt etwas dreckiger, was die konturen angeht und auch die “soft bruches” habe ich bewusst ignoriert. die gesichtspartie ist von der abstraktion sicher auch noch ausbaufähig, aber egal…
